A few years ago I reached a point where I knew something had to change. After a difficult period, I suddenly saw three digits on the scale. I felt physically and mentally out of balance.
I lost 20 kilograms. Not through crash diets. Not through extreme programmes.
But through structure, small changes in behaviour, and an approach I could actually sustain.
That experience changed more than my body. It changed the way I look at health.
From historian to personal trainer & coach
My background is in history. As a historian you learn to analyse, to recognise patterns and to understand systems. You learn to look past the surface and focus on underlying causes.
I apply that same way of thinking to my coaching and personal training today. Results are never achieved by a single factor. Not in history. Not in health. They are achieved by a system that works.
That is why I look beyond training alone. I analyse your habits, lifestyle, recovery, stress levels and context. Only once the full picture is clear do we build a plan that works.
No quick transformations, but lasting progress
Today I help people in Maldegem, Maarkedal and Ghent become stronger, fitter and more energetic through a structured and sustainable approach.
Training is the driving force. But real change happens when movement, nutrition, sleep and stress are in balance.
Many people have already made several attempts to live more healthily. They start out motivated, but over time they lose structure. Not through a lack of discipline, but because they have no support system.
That is where the difference lies.
How a programme is built
Every programme starts with a thorough analysis of your situation, your goals and any limitations. There is no standard programme. No copy-paste plan.
From there we build step by step.
The personal training sessions are technically sound and progressively structured. Safety, quality and correct execution come first. Whether you want to lose weight, build muscle, get stronger or simply regain confidence in your body, the programme is matched to your level.
Beginners start in a controlled and safe way. More advanced clients work with clear progression and measurable steps.
Structure, at your own pace
What sets this approach apart is the combination of clear structure and calm, respectful guidance.
No shouted motivation. No imposed rules. No extreme methods.
Just honest communication about what it takes to make progress.
We deliberately work on small changes in behaviour that have a large impact over the long term. Think of improving your sleep quality, becoming more conscious about your nutrition, increasing your daily movement and training with purpose. Integrated into your life, step by step.
Who is this for?

The ultimate goal
My goal is not to make you dependent on coaching. My goal is to make you stronger and more independent.
So that you understand what works for your body, and why it works. So that you have structure, even without guidance.
